Accounting Assistant

Location
Bridgeport, CT - fully in office

Schedule
Full-time or part-time
Monday - Friday | 24-40 hours/week

• Provide administrative support to finance and management teams (scheduling, correspondence, file maintenance)

• Assist with payroll processes, including email communication, certified payroll reports, and monthly reporting

• Digitally organize and file work orders, invoices, and statements

• Support monthly billing and invoice mailing

• Track and manage company credit card expenses using RAMP software

• Help process subcontractor approval forms

• Assist with bid documentation organization in SharePoint

• Manage and track office supply inventory and orders

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred

• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills

• Bonus: Familiarity with Timberline software
