Accounting Assistant

About the Company
An established local information services provider is looking for an energetic, innovative Accounting Assistant. They offer a great work environment and culture that values integrity.

Responsibilities for Accounting Assistant

Calculate liabilities and prepare monthly reconciliation reports of sales tax liabilities
Prepare and file various sales tax returns
Verify and prepare Sales Tax Credits as required
Sort/distribute incoming departmental mail and take outgoing departmental mail to mailroom
Code and enter supplier credits for payables
Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications Accounting Assistant

Desired experience includes 1-2 years' experience in the Accounting field
Good communication skills including verbal, written, interpersonal, and listening
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Knowledge of or experience with PC, Microsoft Office software, various printers, facsimile, copier, calculator, multi-line phone
Minimum of an Associates Degree in Accounting

The Accounting Assistant role is fully onsite in Cuyahoga Falls, OH with a salary range of $40,000 to $50,000 depending on experience.
