Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and community-oriented Agricultural Lender to join our client's team in Lamesa, Texas. As an Ag Lender, you will play a vital role in supporting local farmers, ranchers, and agricultural businesses by providing tailored financial solutions that help them grow and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with agricultural clients and prospects within the Lamesa community.
Analyze financial statements, credit histories, and collateral to assess risk and determine loan eligibility.
Develop customized loan packages to meet the unique needs of agricultural customers.
Actively participate in community events and initiatives to strengthen First United Bank's presence and commitment to the community.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and manage loan portfolios to ensure ongoing credit quality and profitability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in agriculture, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in agricultural lending or a related field.
Strong understanding of agricultural operations, financial management, and risk assessment.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for community engagement.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Knowledge of local agricultural markets and practices is highly preferred.
