Automotive Painter

Hattiesburg, MS

Maaco Collision Repair and Auto Painting are currently seeking a full-time Automotive Painter to join their team in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 45+ hours/week
• Occasional Saturday may be necessary

The right candidate will have:

• At least 5 years of proven experience in auto painting
• Mechanical knowledge is preferred; familiarity with dealership operations is a plus
• Ability to perform buffing and airless paint spraying techniques proficiently
• Strong customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license required
• Experience in single stage and base/clear coat finishes preferred

Our Automotive Painter will:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas as needed
• Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying and buffing to achieve a smooth finish
• Perform auto restoration tasks, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and customer expectations
• Collaborate with team members to assess project requirements and timelines
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist in minor repairs or adjustments as necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols
