Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Trucking Company

Location: Orlando, FL (willing to travel to IL occasionally for 2nd location)
Compensation: $200,000-$250,000 base salary + performance-based bonus ($500,000–$600,000 OTE)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished Chief Executive Officer with a strong background in the transportation and logistics industry to drive strategic growth, operational excellence, and revenue expansion. The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience in trucking or logistics, a proven track record of scaling revenue from $75M to $150M, and a deep understanding of private equity dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision to scale the business, targeting revenue growth beyond $150M.
  • Provide strong leadership to the organization, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
  • Oversee operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability in line with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with private equity partners, leveraging financial and strategic resources to drive growth.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and investors.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Lead high-level decision-making to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Industry Expertise: 6+ years of executive leadership experience in the trucking, transportation, or logistics industry.
  • Revenue Growth: Proven success in scaling a business from $75M to $150M in revenue or beyond.
  • Private Equity Experience: Prior experience working with private equity-backed companies is highly preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to inspire, manage, and grow high-performing teams.
  • Strategic Vision: Strong ability to develop and execute strategies that drive business growth.
  • Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for managing stakeholder relationships.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $200,000-250,000 base salary, with a performance-based bonus plan offering $500,000–$600,000 OTE.
  • Additional benefits and incentives available, aligned with company performance.
