Job Description

**Must be onsite in Richmond, VA 3 days/ week**

About the Role:

We are looking for a data-driven problem solver who thrives on turning complex datasets into actionable insights. As a Data Analyst, you will leverage your technical expertise and business acumen to build and maintain well-managed data solutions that support critical decision-making. You’ll work with moderate to large datasets and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write complex SQL queries using Snowflake or Postgres to extract, analyze, and validate data
• Design, develop, and administer transactional and analytical data structures
• Perform in-depth root cause analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and business drivers
• Build dashboards and reports using Tableau to visualize insights
• Ensure data quality through profiling, metadata management, and data organization
• Use Python for data processing, scripting, and automation tasks
• Work comfortably in a Unix environment for data access and manipulation
• Collaborate with business partners and fellow analysts to meet data and reporting needs
• Provide technical support for data warehouse and analytics infrastructure as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient in SQL with hands-on experience using Snowflake or Postgres
• Experience using Tableau for reporting and dashboarding
• Skilled in Python for scripting and data analysis
• Strong understanding of data quality, profiling, and metadata management
• Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into business insights
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
