Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant [ If you are a REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT compensation is DOE ] for an opportunity to join our dedicated team. You'll work alongside a group of passionate and knowledgeable dental team committed to providing quality dental work and excellent customer service to our patients.

We are looking for someone who can work full-time (or part-time for MONDAYS and TUESDAYS). Our work schedule is MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, FRIDAYS and SATURDAYS from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We sometimes open our WEDNESDAYS or THURSDAYS for overflow patients at least 1 or 2x a month. The compensation is dependent on experience and skills of the applicant. Knowledge in navigating Eaglesoft program is a plus. Dental X-ray License is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use.
• Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and perform medical imaging as needed.
• Manage patient records, including medical documentation and treatment plans, using Dentrix software.
• Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a positive experience for young patients.
• Engage in four-handed dentistry by working closely with the dentist to improve efficiency during procedures.
• Assist with endodontic procedures and other specialized treatments as required.
• Schedule appointments and manage front desk duties when necessary, acting as a dental receptionist.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.

Skills:

• Proficient in dental assisting techniques, including knowledge of 3D scanners and modern dental technology.
• Strong understanding of pediatric dentistry principles and practices.
• Familiarity with medical documentation standards and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with endodontics is a plus, enhancing the quality of care provided to patients.
