Position Title: Handyman

TexFix is seeking a skilled handyman to perform maintenance and repair work across various facilities and equipment.

• Repair equipment like furniture, doors, and windows.
• Assemble and install fixtures such as shelves, curtains, and cabinets.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
• Work on ladders and perform carpentry tasks.
• Minor electrical and plumbing tasks.
• Use power and hand tools effectively.
• Communicate professionally with clients and staff.
• Work efficiently under pressure, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Flexible work schedule based on the facility's needs.
• Physical tasks, including heavy lifting and prep work for clean construction areas (e.g., dust containment, shoe covers, drop cloths).

• Must-have:
  • Teamwork and professionalism in interactions with both staff and clients.
  • Personal truck, tools, a current valid driver's license, and smartphone.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
