We are currently looking for Room Inspector to join our Housekeeping Team! Our Home2 Suites by Hilton, a 124 all -suites hotel, is located off University Boulevard, a short walk from dining and five minutes from The University of Central Florida. Addition Financial Arena, FBC Mortgage Stadium, and Blanchard Park are within three miles. Our guests enjoy our in-suite kitchens, outdoor saline pool, and fitness center, featuring a Peloton® Bike with toe cages. Hot complimentary daily breakfast is offered to all our guests. The Home2 Suites-UCF is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates.

A Room Inspector supervises cleaning personnel and inspects hotel guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and lobbies by performing the following duties.

• Maintains cleanliness standards for both guest rooms and public areas and inspects them to ensure that standards are met.
• Records inspection results and notifies cleaning personnel of inadequacies.
• Trains or re-trains staff on proper housekeeping procedures when needed.
• In absence of Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the housekeeping department supervision.
• Cleans rooms and public areas as assigned by Executive Housekeeper.
• Working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.
• This is a Part-Time position - 2-3 per week - day shift from 8am to 5-6 pm. If candidate would like to work Full-Time, there are opportunities for Room Attendants for additional 3 days per week. Room Inspector rate of pay $18.00 per hour and Room Attendant rate of pay $16.00 per hour

What You Bring:

• Previous experience in a hotel housekeeping setting or open to training.
• One year previous housekeeping experience and supervisory experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work alone or as part of a team.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
• Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs.
• And most importantly an engaging personality.
