Requirements:
- I am looking for a candidate who holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, with a preference for 5 years of IT experience. Alternatively, an associate’s degree combined with 10 years of experience will also be considered. A minimum of 5 years of experience in computer systems administration is necessary, including at least 2 years in a senior role. It is essential to have experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining VMware Datacenter, Horizon View, and network storage, along with expert-level experience in Microsoft Active Directory and infrastructure systems, including Exchange, File Servers, MDM management, SharePoint, and PKI.
You should possess a strong technical background with a good understanding of computer systems, networks, and security technologies, alongside detailed knowledge of Linux and Cisco equipment. I expect strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial, as you will need to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks are imperative. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco, VMware, and Microsoft certifications are highly desirable. Additionally, strong leadership skills are necessary to mentor and train junior team members.Responsibilities:
- As the IT Service Desk Lead/Manager, I expect you to lead the end-user support team, providing support services across our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering first-level technical support to end-users through various channels such as phone, email, and in-person. You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues, while also documenting and tracking all support requests using a ticketing system.
You will install, configure, and maintain hardware and software for end-users and provide necessary training and support for hardware and software applications. Collaboration with other IT teams will be essential to resolve complex issues, and you are expected to stay informed about emerging technologies to provide recommendations for upgrades and improvements.Technologies:
