Overview: We are seeking a creative and talented Junior Designer to join our team. As a Junior Designer, you will assist in the development of innovative interior design solutions that meet the functional and aesthetic needs of our clients. From conceptualization to implementation, you will play a role in transforming spaces into beautiful, functional, and curated homes. Qualifications: 1-3 years experience in interior design Associate's degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field preferred. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop), and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and high-end trade vendors. Possess strong verbal, written and visual communication skills. Willingness to present your ideas to Shea, the design director, lead designer, and clients. Demonstrated ability to work independently and exhibit a strong sense of professional maturity Problem solver and ability to develop innovative solutions for clients' needs Candidate must live near or be willing to relocate to the SLC, UT area Responsibilities : Collaborate with Lead Designer in creating templates, design concepts, and presentations for clients. Source materials, furniture, fabrics, and finishes with direction from your Lead Designer Conduct site visits to measure and assess progress to ensure design concepts align with client needs and specifications. Assist Lead Designer at installs with any needs that arise. Take detailed notes in meetings An air of ownership and partnership on projects with your lead designer Design thoughtful, functional, and intentional spaces based on client needs while maintaining the Studio McGee aesthetic.
