Position Overview
As the Medical Office Manager , you will play a crucial role in managing the administrative and operational aspects of our clinic. You will be directly responsible for overseeing the credentialing process for health insurance providers, managing the onboarding of new employees, and ensuring the efficient functioning of the office on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have proven experience in medical office management. Bilingual Creole is preferred to better serve our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
Credentialing & Insurance: Oversee and manage the credentialing process with health insurance companies, ensuring timely approvals and compliance with industry standards.
Employee Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all necessary documentation and training are completed effectively.
Office Operations: Handle day-to-day administrative tasks, including managing office supplies, scheduling, and ensuring the clinic is running smoothly and efficiently.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the VP of Operations and clinic owners to align office functions with the broader goals of the clinic.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all clinic policies and procedures are followed, and assist with regulatory compliance and audits as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Medical Office Manager or in a similar administrative role within a medical setting.
Strong knowledge of credentialing processes and health insurance provider requirements.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff, patients, and leadership.
Proficiency in office management software and other relevant medical administrative tools.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Bilingual in Creole (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working with small to medium-sized medical offices.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, medical billing, and insurance verification.
Leadership experience and the ability to supervise and train staff.
