Job Description
Join our innovative and collaborative team as an Offset Press Operator! In this role, you will operate and maintain printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials while adhering to production deadlines. Your expertise in print processes, prepress procedures, and color management will play a key role in ensuring exceptional results. This is a full-time position
Key Responsibilities
• Operate various types of printing presses and pre-press equipment, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
• Set up press equipment according to job specifications, including ink mixing and color adjustments.
• Monitor the printing process to maintain quality standards, making adjusting as necessary.
• Collaborate with the prepress team to prepare layouts. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the printing process, implementing solutions promptly.
• Making minor repairs and completing maintenance on press equipment, such as changing blankets, etc. to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Keeping the press area and machines clean.
• Keeping inventory and creating requisitions for press supplies.
• Other duties as assigned
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, including materials used and job completion times.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies throughout the production process.
Qualifications
• Proven 2 years experience as a Press Operator or in a similar role within the printing industry.
• Strong knowledge of prepress processes, color management and layout, mechanical knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and math skills with a focus on quality assurance.
• A positive attitude, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
