UNH College of Professional Studies is seeking a dynamic and qualified educator to teach in our dual enrollment program with the NH Virtual Learning Academy Charter School. This adjunct faculty will deliver high-quality college-level instruction to high school students enrolled in the UNH CPS early college program, preparing them for postsecondary success while earning both high school and college credit. Duties/Responsibilities include delivering engaging and rigorous instruction aligned with both high school and college-level standards; fostering an inclusive and collaborative learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and academic growth; evaluating student performance through assignments, projects, presentations, and examinations in accordance with university policies; assessing student progress and providing timely feedback; maintaining accurate records of student performance and attendance in accordance with both high school and college policies; participating in periodic departmental meetings and professional development opportunities; and providing feedback to improve course offerings and student outcomes. Requirements include a Master’s degree appropriate for the discipline of the UNH dual enrollment course, valid NH teacher licensure in the relevant subject area, experience teaching high school students in an online asynchronous course delivery model, and strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Preferred qualifications include experience teaching in a concurrent credit/early college program and experience teaching online asynchronous college-level courses.
