An opportunity is available for a skilled candidate to support munication in a high school setting during the Extended School Year. This contract position is ideal for individuals who are proficient in American Sign Language and are passionate about facilitating an inclusive environment for students with hearing impairments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and timely interpretation of spoken language into sign language for students during classes and school events.
• Assist in creating a conducive learning atmosphere by ensuring effective munication between educators and students.
• Adapt interpreting techniques to meet the varied needs of students, considering their individual munication styles.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions while promoting a positive experience for students.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to address any specific munication requirements or concerns.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) with relevant certification.
