Department/Unit Summary
SOVAH Danville's Behavioral Health Unit is a 24-bed unit which provides services that treats mental health issues and promotes patient wellbeing. We have a team of staff Psychiatrists, Nurses, Counselors, Social Workers, Case Managers and Technicians that offer individual, group and family therapy. Additionally, we support this with medication therapy and other interventions. SOVAH Danville offers a supportive, safe and healing environment for recovery. Once discharged, we also have involvement from our community care partners, which help support a successful return to the home environment.

Qualifications:Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current VA (or Multi-state) RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school ( Bachelor’s degree preferred). Additional requirements include:
American Heart Association Basic Life Support
Experience in clinical area preferred
American Heart Association ACLS within 90 days of hire
