Basic Purpose

Reporting to the Sales Manager/Recruitment Manager, the Senior Technical Recruiter will be responsible for identifying and presenting qualified technical candidates to fill client requirements. These requirements will be provided through an online procurement system, resource/delivery manager, or Collabera sales/executive/account manager. Additionally, the recruiter will focus on direct hire recruiting across multiple industries, including IT, Accounting & Finance, Manufacturing & Engineering, and other professional staffing sectors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understand the technical and functional aspects of job requisitions and their requirements.
  • Prioritize requisitions effectively.
  • Identify qualified technical candidates using various sources, including available employee consultants on the bench, resume databases, employment websites, referrals, personal networks, social media, etc.
  • Capture and assess the required skills and experience, conducting preliminary technical interviews to evaluate technical expertise, communication skills, and overall suitability.
  • Maintain a database of local candidates.
  • Utilize unconventional recruiting methods as needed.
  • Negotiate pay rates with consultant candidates in alignment with client requirements and guidance from the resource manager or account manager.
  • Submit appropriately qualified resumes for each requirement within the stipulated timeline.
  • Stay well-versed in the job market, sub-tier relationships, and working with W2 candidates.
  • Adhere to the Recruiter Ground Rules, including job expectations, document and template standards, email communication guidelines, and initial candidate outreach.
  • Conduct cold calls to consultant candidates to establish relationships and promote Collabera.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultant candidates.

Essential Education, Skills, and Environment

Education and Work Experience

  • Recruiting background in the services domain with strong communication skills.

  • Complete staffing and recruitment lifecycle experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, liberal arts (psychology, sociology, etc.), industrial relations, or

organizational development; post-graduate education or training is a plus.

  • Minimum of 3+ years of employment-related experience, preferably in direct hire recruitment.

  • Must be technically savvy.
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work within a culturally diverse environment.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • General office environment.
  • No special physical demands required.
  • Minimal travel required.
  • Hybrid work model – 4 days onsite per week.
