The Crown Is Yours

DraftKings is seeking a Player Props Sports Trader who combines a passion for sports with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. This role is not only about using your knowledge and passion for sports to manage player props, but also about quickly adapting to new technologies and market trends, ensuring that our offerings are both innovative and industry leading.

What you’ll do as a Player Props Sports Trader

• Develop and manage player prop markets for various leagues, ensuring a wide range of betting options.

• Utilize statistical models and data analysis techniques to price player props accurately.

• Work closely with the data science, analytics, and other teams to align player prop offerings with overall market strategy.

• Actively monitor pricing on player prop markets, managing player inputs while applying innovative strategies.

• Conduct thorough research on player performances, team dynamics, and other relevant factors that inform prop pricing decisions.

• Develop and manage market leading player prop offering to enhance user experience and increase market engagement.

What you’ll bring

• A high-level understanding in at least one of the major leagues.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in line with sports events.

• Strong communication, teamwork abilities, and decision-making under pressure.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., STEM, Economics, Sports Management) preferred.

• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g.,Excel, R, Python) preferred.

The US hourly rate for this full-time position is $24.23 - $30.29, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
