Job Description This role will be based in Sunnyvale/Mountain View, San Francisco CA or Chicago IL offices.

The People Analytics team within LinkedIn's Global Talent Organization (GTO) is at the forefront of using data to shape the company's talent strategy. We empower business leaders to make informed decisions through insights that drive key talent outcomes. As we continue to expand our employee sentiment capabilities, we are looking for a Staff People Analytics Analyst to transform survey data into compelling narratives and lead innovative programs that drive organizational impact.
In this role, you'll help our leaders make smarter decisions about our people by turning employee feedback into clear, actionable insights. The successful candidate will conduct complex data analysis, develop actionable insights, and communicate data findings to stakeholders through both written reports and data visualizations. The candidate will partner with the Global Talent Organization (GTO) leadership team to transform the way employee voice data is used to optimize our talent strategy and tackle high-priority strategic questions for our multiple GTO functions and partners such as Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging (DIBs), Talent Development, and Workplace services among others.
Responsibilities: - Research, Design, and Insights: Improve employee engagement and well-being by leveraging research, quantitative and qualitative analysis, statistics, and data visualization to understand employee sentiments.
- Survey Development: Co-design and co-develop our bi-annual company-wide employee engagement survey, new hire surveys, exit surveys and ad hoc pulse surveys. Analyze survey results and identify recommendations for our senior stakeholders that will be actioned upon to improve the employee experience.
- Strategic Research and Analysis: Influence LinkedIn's talent strategy by working closely with cross-functional partners (e.g., Diversity and Inclusion, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, etc.) to identify people issues, design measurement strategies, and analyze data to drive improvements.
- Activate Action Planning: Own and drive a program to activate more action planning across the organization, developing manager and employee resources and partnering with key stakeholders to educate and upskill managers and employees on action planning best practices
- Thought-leadership: Stay up to date with employee listening trends and help evolve LinkedIn's employee listening strategy across various listening tools that will ensure the employee voice gets amplified and incorporated into talent strategies.
Qualifications Qualifications: - 4+ years of work experience in a role that involves converting data into actionable insights for business decision making
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Social Sciences (e.g., Psychology), Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or other quantitative field, or related equivalent experience
- Experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree (M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or advanced degree in a related field).
- Survey expertise: Experience with survey design and psychometrics, including constructing reliable measurement scales, conducting validity assessments, and analyzing psychometric properties using statistical software (SPSS, R).
- Highly analytical: Experience decomposing and solving real world business problems, ideally building/using advanced analytical models. Willingness to learn advanced statistics (i.e. t-test, regression, factor analysis) and use statistical software (R, SAS, Python, etc.)
- Applied Research: Experience conducting research in an organization or consulting environment, including executing mixed-methods research (combining qualitative and quantitative methods)
- Written communication: Experience communicating technical results to technical and non-technical audiences. Able to credibly and compellingly convey ideas and recommendations in writing to senior leadership
- Designs solutions at scale: Experience designing surveys in collaboration with stakeholders and business leaders. Experience with qualitative data analysis at scale
- Change Management Expertise: Experience designing and implementing change management strategies that translate survey insights into organizational improvements. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, overcome resistance, and drive adoption of new initiatives based on employee feedback data.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $112,000to $185,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
