We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Toxicology Supervisor to become a vital part of a new reference laboratory located in Dickson, Tennessee. Key Responsibilities:Lead Laboratory Operations : Supervise daily lab activities, ensuring smooth workflows and high-quality test results.
Complex Testing : Perform and review intricate testing procedures, including antibody identification and compatibility testing, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Mentor & Train : Train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory staff, fostering competency and professional growth.
Quality Control : Monitor and uphold robust quality control protocols, ensuring the precision of equipment calibration and adherence to procedural accuracy.
Compliance & Readiness : Participate in laboratory inspections and audits to maintain compliance and ensure readiness for external reviews.
Collaborative Improvements : Work closely with leadership to identify and implement process enhancements that optimize laboratory operations and testing efficiency.
Education : Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
Certifications :
Tennessee State Supervisor License (required).
MT(ASCP) certification required.
Experience :
At least 4 years of high complexity toxicology experience
Demonstrated ability to manage testing procedures and ensure high levels of accuracy and quality.
