Job Description

Our client, a well-established and highly respected regional law firm, is looking to add a Labor & Employment Attorney to their growing team. The candidate can be placed in their Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany or New York City offices.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Representing public and private matters involving a wide range of labor, employment and education laws.
• Drafting of employment agreements and separation/service agreements.
• Counseling of clients on the application of various state and federal employment laws.

Candidates must have the following experience/credentials:

• Minimum of three years of experience in labor and employment litigation, as well advising clients on labor and employment laws and regulations.
• Strong academic credentials, including Juris Doctor degree.
• Proven ability to work directly with clients to develop and execute service strategies.
• Work collaboratively with other practice areas to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be admitted to practice law in New York State.

The firm offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package. At this time, the good faith estimate of the annual salary range for this position is $132,000 to $200,000. Where a successful applicant is slotted within this range will vary based on legitimate criteria, such as experience, skill level and portable book of business.
