Food Runner Job Summary – High-Energy Restaurant Role

We’re hiring an energetic, detail-oriented, fast-moving Food Runner to join the front-of-house team at DeRomo’s in Bonita Springs, FL. In this role, you’ll ensure dishes are delivered with precision, presentation, and speed—making you the vital link between our kitchen and guests.

Responsibilities – What You'll Do:

• Deliver food from kitchen to guests quickly, safely, and with a smile
• Confirm accuracy and quality of each order before serving
• Assist servers in clearing, resetting tables, and guest needs
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff
• Maintain clean and organized food pickup and service areas
• Uphold DeRomo’s standards for presentation, pace, and professionalism

Ideal Candidate – Who We're Looking For:

• Energetic and able to move quickly in a high-volume setting
• Detail-oriented , with an eye for presentation and accuracy
• Calm under pressure , with a professional, friendly attitude
• A team player who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments
• Strong multitasker with great communication skills
• Passionate about hospitality, food, and creating guest experiences

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Prior restaurant or food service experience preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, and move swiftly for long periods
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs below waist, at waist, and overhead
• Excellent hearing and communication skills for fast-paced service
• Comfortable navigating stairs, tight spaces, and using a step-stool
• Able to work in hot, humid, and cold environments
• Must handle raw and fresh food (including potential allergens)
• Clear verbal communication in English (Spanish a plus)
• Open availability required, including nights and weekends
• Reliable transportation
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Non-slip shoes required (not provided)
