Job Title: Network Support Specialist

Location: Decatur, IL and Mattoon, IL

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Network Analyst to join our team. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to develop skills in network troubleshooting while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot residential network equipment, including routers and FiberOptics connections.
• Provide technical support via phone, including diagnostics and system resets.
• Utilize tools like SMX, NetSuite, Minerva, and NOMS to resolve issues.
• Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 or higher levels as necessary.

Requirements:

• Associate degree or certificate in networking or a related IT field preferred.
• Familiarity with FiberOptics systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.

Schedule:

• Daytime, night (8 PM – 5 AM), and weekend (Wed–Sun) shifts available.
