Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine Opportunity
We are seeking a Hospice and Palliative medicine physician to join our Hospice program in Medford, Oregon. Our program provides comprehensive Hospice Services throughout Jackson and Josephine Counties. Candidates must be skilled in Hospice and Palliative medicine. Our current team consists of 1 board certified Hospice and Palliative medicine physician, 1 per-diem physician and 2 per-diem NPs that assist with regulatory face to face visits. We have a highly skilled, experienced hospice team of Registered Nurses, Social Workers, CNAs and Spiritual Care providers.
The Regional Medical Center Hospice is dedicated in providing quality end-of-life care. We honor our patients and family's choices through compassionate holistic services. Asante Hospice has experienced growth which is expected to continue. Our average daily census is in the 130s.
Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school. Excellent communication. Experience in working within an interdisciplinary care team setting. Skilled in symptom management.
License / Certification: MD or DO licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners; Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine; Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges - this includes but is not limited to, holding position-specific certifications/memberships as determined by Asante Medical Staff team (i.e. ACLS, BLS, PALS, etc.); Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs; Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
