The Private Equity Solutions Group Intern on the Business Management team will take ownership and work on data entry and database management for the Private Equity Solutions Group ("PESG") related to client and portfolio company coverage. The Intern will obtain a 'behind the scenes' perspective of the investment banking industry and specifically how private equity coverage is approached and executed. Depending on proximity and availability, this position will be hybrid, encompassing both remote work and in-person opportunities.
Responsibilities - Manage multiple CRM and market intelligence databases in Excel and Salesforce
- Maintain database by entering new and updated sponsor portfolio company data
- Tracking of industry/personnel changes to maintain up-to-date list of private equity partners and deal leads
- General company and industry information gathering and research
- Intake and process Sponsor data from multiple sources
- Ownership of and accountability for data integrity and accuracy
- Follow and maintain database entry techniques and procedures
- Verify and validate Sponsor portfolio company data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data
- Establish and adhere to cadence for timely updates
- Provide weekly summary of tasks completed and goals accomplished
Required Skills/Characteristics - Self-starter with strong drive and work ethic

- Computer skills (Microsoft Suite - Excel, PPT, Word, etc.) preferred; experience with Macros, Pivot Tables and Programming in VBA preferred but not required
- Understanding of investment banking, financial concepts and related market activities
Background/Qualifications - Undergraduate student, class of 2026
- Interest financial services, financial research and/or analysis
- Finance, Economics or related major preferred
- Previous data analysis, client support, experience
- Proximity/ability to commute into Manhattan HQ strongly preferred
