Registered Nurse, Behavioral Health at Ottumwa Regional Health Center summary:

As a Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health, you will provide clinical and administrative support, perform therapeutic measures as prescribed by physicians, and participate in patient education and rehabilitation. Job Type: Full-Time Weekend Night Shift 1900-0700

Commitment Bonus of $15,000 (2 years)

Position Summary:

The nurse provides clinical and administrative support. The nurse performs therapeutic measures prescribed and delegated by the physician. Participates in patient education and rehabilitation and provides interpretation of treatment to the patient and the patient’s family. The nurse coordinates unit activities and assures accountability of all assigned tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program required with a current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in Iowa or from a Compact State.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Recent RN experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in psychiatrics nursing
