UPMC offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment for new hires.
\nPerforms imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Competently performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. This position will work Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at West shore Hospital or Community Osteopathic as scheduled.
\n Eligible participants must have a minimum of 6 months of experience and work 48 weekends per year, 24 hours per weekend (either two 12-hour or three 8-hour shifts per weekend), between the hours of Friday at 3 p.m. and Monday at 7 a.m. A 15% incentive will be added to their hourly rate.
Weekend program benefits (medical benefits, paid short-term and long-term disability, tuition reimbursement, PTO accrual) offered as for full-time staff.
Responsibilities:
\nWhen rotating between two specialties, must hold registry in each specialty.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:Must be willing and demonstrate flexibility to be assigned to any of the maintained registries by leadership. Must provide flexibility to work at least one off-shift (evening, nights or weekend), every 90 days as requested by imaging leadership.
\nCPR or BLS preferred. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
